This wine has a color of a clean yellow hue with a nuance of green, and a beautiful aromatic floral nose. The palate is crisp and refreshing with citrus and tropical fruits. Perfect acidity and mouthfeel. The perfect white wine for spring and summer evenings with friends!
Chateau Tour de Goupin is situated upon two distinct terroirs within Bordeaux: one of clay-limestone and clay-gravel ground, and one of clay and limestone and acidic ground. The appellation benefits from the unique hydrological benefit of being occupied by two major rivers, the Dordogne and the Garonne, and the Gironde Estuary into which they flow. These waterways not only supply ample irrigation for cultivating wines, but have enriched the soil with minerals for tens of thousands of years. Vines at Chateau Tour de Goupin are cultivated using traditional breeding and pruning methods, and the soil is ploughed every other year to maintain natural ground cover. The estate is around 50 acres in size and produces 100,00 bottles per year.
