Compared to the 2017, the 2018 is young and punchy! The fruit on the nose is more forward with the traditional Cabernet Franc notes of cedar and graphite. It is structured with grippy tannins that a paired beautifully with red and dark berries. This Loire Valley red is looking to be tamed, and there is some room for this one to age for a bit. Pair this wine with some of your favorite light appetizers and enjoy a glass or two. Your palate will thank you!
