Le Colture Prosecco Valdobbiadene Superiore di Cartizze DOCG (NV): Veneto, Italy

$26.00 $30.00

Tasting Notes

A wonderful Prosecco Superiore with an inimitable concentration of aromas. This sparkling wine retains all the crispness of a Prosecco Superiore with the slightest bit of sweetness to exhibit its dense, complex fragrances. Intense and rich nose offering yellow peach, apricot, and honey. A great wine with appetizers, or aperitif to a meal. You can perfectly pair this sparkler with a dessert to round out the evening.

Winery Details

The Le Colture estate winery is located in the hills of Santo Stefano di Valdobbiadene. Cartizze, derived from the dialect term gardiz, or the reed mat on which the grape clusters are placed to dry, is the sub-denomination for a small zone, in the commune of Valdobbiadene, in the steepest hills of Santo Stefano and Saccol. The estate boasts 40 hectares of vines spread over various locations in Conegliano and Valdobbiadene from the famous Cartizze's hill, which is very rare within the DOCG. The winery places a very particular importance on having the least amount of impact on the environment and respecting tradition and culture.

The wines are the fruit of the happy combination of passion and profound dedication to their land of Valdobbiadene. Ruggeri, a family clan perfectly tight-knit family in which every member is involved at every stage of the production chain: from the fully estate grown vine selection to bottling, and even its marketing and distribution!
