Winery Details

Located in the heart of Chançay, a sub-region of the Vouvray AOC just north of the Loire River, the Gaucher family of Domaine des Cormiers Roux have been producing wines for 5 generations; with Éric Gaucher paving the way with beautiful and elegant Vouvray wines! Their 22-hectare estate in Chançay exclusively grows their vines in clay-limestone soils, which gives their Vouvray-producing estate a uniquely special terroir that truly showcases Chenin Blanc.

Vinification: The grapes are grown organically at the highest level to maintain biodiversity in the vineyards. The grapes are hand harvested, and produced into a sparkling wine using Méthode Traditionnelle, which is the same way Champagne is made. Only a little sweetness is reserved for this wine.

Aging: Aged in stainless steel and bottle.

% ABV: 12%
