Gaspard is a Jenny & François Selections house label and produced with the careful sourcing and selection of a Loire Valley winemaker, produced to an exact specification with organic sustainable farming, and low intervention. Gaspard means treasure, and that is exactly what you will get with their wines. The grapes are harvested from forty-year-old vines in clay and limestone.

Origin: Touraine, Loire Valley, France

Vinification: Sustainable farming practices. The grapes are hand-harvested, pressed and macerated for several hours. The first fermentation occurs with native yeast in stainless steel tanks. The wine is then filtered and bottled with liqueur de tirage, a wine, sugar and yeast mixture, to start the second fermentation in bottles to make this wine méthode traditionnelle. The wine is disgorged and topped up with more wine, zero sugar added. Total time in cellar is 36 months.

Aging: Aged in stainless steel vats and in bottle for 36 months.

% ABV: 12.5%
