2021 Bocchino ‘Sorì dei Fiori’ Moscato d'Asti: Piedmont, Italy

$16.00 $18.00

Tasting Notes

You know when you have a good moscato! The color of this Moscato is an intense straw yellow with golden nuances with a light yet creamy and persistent bubbles. The bouquet is very aromatic, markedly recalling ripe grapes and nutmeg married well with hints of sage, orange flowers, peach and apricot. On the palate, this wine is full, enveloping, sweet but not cloying proving it is well balanced with acidity and effervescence. Pair this wine with one of your favorite desserts such as cakes and pastries. Also pairs well with fresh cheeses.

Winery Details

Giuseppe Bocchino’s grandfather, Aurelio, always said, “You can only make bad wine from bad grapes, but with good grapes you can make either good wine or bad wine.” That is why the winery has a great responsibility: from the meticulous work in the vineyard, to the commitment in the cellars, the wine must be worthy of these lands. They are a family, but in the company, each of them has their own role based on experience and professional skills.
