Tasting Notes

This Pinot Noir shows a color of dark red and garnet hues. The nose of this wine is reminiscent of a red velvet cupcake. On the palate, the wine greets you with a balance of red and black fruit elements. The wine transitions to notes of chocolate, citrus flowers, cranberry, and strawberry. The finish is rounded out with earthy, mushroom notes, and supple tannins.

Winery Details

“At TIMBRE we strive to make balanced wines of distinction. That means starting with world-class vineyard sources that have the perfect combination of soil, climate, and sustainable farming practices and it extends to the minimally invasive winemaking techniques that have been used for centuries.

Our winemaking philosophy is simple:

- Develop relationships with the most outstanding vineyards in Santa Barbara County and beyond;

- Pick our grapes at the right balance of natural acidity, potential alcohol, and flavor development;

- Let the fruit express its sense of place and time in the cellar by using as minimally-invasive winemaking techniques as possible;

- Always be our own harshest critics.” – TIMBRE Winery
