Chile
Tasting Notes
This Pinot pours with a brilliant cherry red, garnet hue. On the nose, notes of raspberries, cherries, mint, and earthy. On the palate, a fine texture, fruity and a juicy finish.
Winery Details
The name Los Morros, or “the hills”, comes from the rolling hills of vineyards that run alongside winemaker Miguel Besoain’s family home in Maipo Valley. These vineyards continue south, through Chile's central valley – from this special mountainous terroir, Miguel produces hand-crafted wines using only the highest quality grapes.
Miguel’s winemaking style stems from his vast experience working throughout Europe producing expressive wines with excellent varietal typicity. After years of winemaking in France & Germany, he decided to return to his home in Chile to continue in his father’s footsteps. Slowly, he began to work with his father in their family vineyards and began to produce wine from their special land.
